Integrative Reiki

Master Kataka Gara has been a Reiki Master and energy healer for over 20 years. Owning several different and unique small businesses, she has extensive experience in marketing, small business consulting and incorporates many healing modalities with her sessions and classes, including: guided meditation, crystals, pendulum work, Quantum Touch, music and manifesting concepts.

Master Kataka founded Ecstasy Lounge/Club Ecstasy, the world's first women's safer sex club, where she educated women about safer sex practices and STDs. She was funded by grants from the City of San Francisco for her award-winning educational concepts. She also taught Reiki and Small Business concepts for massage therapists at The National Holistic Institute and for The Trinity College of Massage, at various locations throughout California and was the first Reiki Master Healer for the St. James Infirmary, an occupational safety & health clinic for sex workers in
San Francisco, CA.

Master Kataka has been a musician, singer and performer most of her life and is a multi-instrumentalist (playing over 30 instruments).  She discovered that she could "funnel" Reiki energy through her music, so that her audiences could sense the Reiki energy, ultimately benefiting from her music when she played it. She also teaches her music students to funnel Reiki energy through music.

As a Landmark Education graduate and a practicing Yogini, Master Kataka’s mission is "To empower people through Beauty, Grace and Joy.” She incorporates this mission in all her work, which includes her musical performances, teaching the Integrative Reiki Master Method, spiritual coaching and empowerment courses. She has been a member and counselor for the world-wide Re-evaluation Co-Counseling Community and a member of No Limits for Women in the Arts Counseling Organization.  She frequently teaches and travels to a growing student body in Los Angeles and the Bay Area.  Her workshops have been attended by students worldwide.
