The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – “rei” which means Universal wisdom and “ki” which is life force energy. Reiki translates, then, to Universal Life Force. Reiki is hands-on energy healing where the practitioner serves as an open channel for transmitting Universal ki to others. The energy is channeled through the practitioner’s hands to the client, which activates the body's own natural ability to heal itself. Reiki is an intellectual energy that goes wherever it is needed most, releasing blocked energies, cleansing the body of toxins, working to create a state of balance, harmony and promoting deep relaxation and healing. |
